Guest QR codes

Residents create a QR code from the app, or invite their guest to create it themselves. The guest shows it on arrival and walks in without waiting.

ID card reading

Reads the ID number and name from the back of the ID card and checks that they match the QR code. If the ID number is registered under another name, entry is blocked.

Logs and incidents

Every entry is logged with the exact time, reason, gatekeeper on duty and a photo of the vehicle. Every unusual situation goes into an incident log that cannot be edited.

QR codes by uses, time or day

QR codes valid for hours, days, a number of uses or one specific day. They expire on their own or the resident can cancel them at any time. Event passes included.

Real-time notifications

When a guest arrives, the resident is notified instantly on their phone and, with the add-on, through their Alexa. No radios, no calls, no intercoms.

The resident invites

They pick the day and send a link by WhatsApp. If they already have their guest's details, they can create the QR code themselves, valid by time, uses or day.

They open the link, enter their ID number, name, party size and license plate, and get their QR code on their phone. Vigía 24/7 validates the details before creating it.

The gatekeeper scans

They scan the QR code and the ID card in seconds: the details fill in automatically and the app checks it is the same person. The QR code is non-transferable.

How is it calculated? Simple, no fine print

Each user pays the price of the tier they fall in, just like tax brackets. The first 30 pay the Tier 1 price, users 31 to 100 the Tier 2 price and from user 101 on the Tier 3 price. Every user counts: residents, gatekeepers, management and board.

Everything you are wondering

Do I need to buy special hardware?

No. All you need is a computer, phone and/or tablet with a recent Android or iPhone (last 5 years). The app works in any browser and installs like a native app.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Information is stored encrypted. ID card and license plate scans are not stored; they are only used to read, compare and validate the details against the QR codes sent by residents. We comply with Chile's Data Protection Law No. 19,628.

How long does setup take?

Between 2 and 5 business days. It includes initial configuration, user import and training for everyone involved (Board, Manager, Residents and Gatekeepers). The whole process is done online.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Vigía 24/7 works in real time and also offline. If for any reason you are left WITHOUT INTERNET, entries are saved on the devices and sync automatically when the connection comes back.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. We have a special ZERO COST plan called "30 - 30". You only pay the Initial Setup (non-refundable). It lasts 30 days for up to 30 users.

How is the monthly price calculated?

In tiers, just like tax brackets: each user pays the price of the tier they fall in. Users 1 to 30 pay US$3.80, users 31 to 100 pay US$2.50 and user 101 and up pay US$1.40 (monthly, plus tax). Example with 40 users: 30 × US$3.80 + 10 × US$2.50 = US$139.00 per month. Adding a user never lowers or spikes your bill, and there are no hidden fees. Every user counts (residents, gatekeepers, management and board).

Does my guest need to install anything?

No. They get a link by WhatsApp, open it in their browser, fill in their details and get their QR code. They have 24 hours to complete it and the QR code only works on the day of the visit.

How do Alexa announcements work?

It is an optional add-on. The resident links their Alexa account to Vigía 24/7 and, when their guest walks in, their Echo announces the name out loud. They choose which speakers play it and at what volume. Price: US$1.40 + tax per month for the first Echo in the unit, US$1.00 + tax per month for each additional Echo, and US$25 + tax one-time for each user who enables it.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. It is month to month; cancel whenever you want. If you pay yearly, it ends on your license's expiration date.
